Over the last week, Democrats have suddenly changed their minds about the Jeffrey Epstein files.
After the Trump administration announced that there was no client list, all of a sudden, Democrats switched gears and are suddenly demanding transparency of the files.
Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is now calling out Dems for the sudden change of heart.
After Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel announced there was no client list, MAGA and Dems started going nuts.
Trump tried to quash this by announcing a partial release, stating, “I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request.”
Dems now believe they smell blood in the water, pushing the narrative that the only reason Trump is selectively releasing files is because he is on that list that allegedly does not exist
Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) is leading the charge, stating, “Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. We know that. It’s time for the whole truth to come out.”
Senator Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is leading the effort in the Senate, stating, “If there is any evidence of a cover-up in the Epstein case, the public has a right to know. If there is a list, the public deserves to see it and Americans deserve to see the truth even if it’s not what Donald Trump and his elite friends want.”
He added, “I’m calling on my fellow senators to join me in demanding the Department of Justice release Epstein files to restore the public trust, affirm institutional accountability and to prevent the politicization of justice.”
Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), however, fell in line with Trump, blocking the effort in the Senate to have the files released, stating, “It’s so obvious that the Democrats are just using this for a political football.”
He later added, “If they are serious about it, what happened the last four years?” Well, I can answer that. Everyone thought the files would be more damaging to Democrats, so they sat on their hands. The statements by Trump, however, had led people to believe that Trump is either in those files or the files would hurt the GOP more, so now they suddenly want them all released.
McCarthy was around in the House when Democrats were sitting on their hands over the Epstein files, so he very quickly called them out.
He stated, “They never asked about it — they tried to hide from it. Trump] didn’t hide from this — he had the authorities investigate this.
“You know what I want? President Trump focused on exactly why we elected him, and that’s what he’s doing.”
I still don’t think Trump is in those files, but I do believe that when the files were produced, they were scared of the sheer volume of people who were in the files, and their positions, so they decided to bury them instead of allowing the files to take everyone down.
