Democrat council member caught on video dropping ballots

If you ask me the one thing that I would change about how we vote, I would immediately point to mail-in and absentee ballots.

Most states have weeks of early voting available, so I don’t see the need for anyone to have to mail in a ballot unless they are immobilized or out of the state during the election. To me, this is where corruption is invited, and a Michigan Democrat may have just proved my point for me.

How the country views it

This is very much a political line in the sand for liberals and conservatives.

On the right, less than 40% of Republican voters believe that mail-in ballots should be permitted.

On the left, a whopping 82% support absentee ballots being available for everyone, with no reason needed.

This opens up elections to fraud, and while I don’t think a presidential election will ever be able to see enough fraud to have it swing in either direction, state and local elections can clearly be impacted by this.

Trump wants it fixed

Recently, Donald Trump announced his plans for an executive order to address mail-in ballots as well as voting machines, which Trump has always had an issue with.

He posted to Truth Social, “I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly ‘Inaccurate,’ Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES.

“WE WILL BEGIN THIS EFFORT, WHICH WILL BE STRONGLY OPPOSED BY THE DEMOCRATS BECAUSE THEY CHEAT AT LEVELS NEVER SEEN BEFORE, by signing an EXECUTIVE ORDER to help bring HONESTY to the 2026 Midterm Elections.”

Dems will say Trump is wrong, but their case took a direct hit thanks to a Michigan official.

Got him

Hamtramck City Council member Abu Musa was caught on video in the passenger seat of a car, handing off a stack of ballots to be dropped at a ballot box.

Michigan law does not limit how many ballots an individual can drop off, but it does stipulate the person handling the ballots must be a family member or live in the same dwelling.

Musa won his election, but had the absentee ballots not been counted, he would have finished in fifth place, as roughly 25% of all his votes were in-person votes, with the rest coming from ballot boxes.

Several other local council members recently faced charges of election fraud, so it is not out of the question that Musa was part of this, even though he has not yet had any charges filed against him. To me, at the very least, he broke the law regarding the handling of the ballots. Now it is just a matter of proving he dropped fraudulent ballots to win the race.
