Over the last few days, what could be the biggest scandal in American politics has been unraveling.
I am, of course, talking about the Russian collusion investigation that was tied to the Steele dossier, a document paid for, in part, by the Clinton campaign.
Constitutional expert Jonathan Turley is now relishing in the fact that the American people are finally learning the truth.
I am not sure most people remember a report that surfaced in 2022 regarding the bounty that the FBI was willing to pay Christopher Steele to validate his claims in the dossier.
The report noted that the FBI had offered Steele $1 million to prove his allegations.
The media ignored the report at the time, but Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) was furious, stating at the time, "You can't make this stuff up. But I think it just underscores how out of touch and how political the FBI has become.”
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) added, "The FBI allegedly tried to payout $1 million to corroborate reports about President Trump that Hillary Clinton’s campaign fabricated.”
From the documents revealed by Tulsi Gabbard, we know that the Clinton campaign and some Obama administration officials were communicating regarding the planned attack against Donald Trump.
A report also revealed that it was Hillary who gave the ultimate thumbs-up to conduct the smear campaign against Trump, hoping to derail his campaign with the allegations.
Open Society senior vice president Leonard Benardo, an organization run by the Soros family, was also included in the loop. Bernardo wrote, “Julie [sic] says it will be a long-term affair to demonize Putin and Trump. Now it is good for a post-convention bounce. Later the FBI will put more oil into the fire.” Clearly, the FBI was working with Hillary’s campaign here.
He later added, “HRC approved Julia’s idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections. That should distract people from her own missing email, especially if the affair goes to the Olympic level.”
My regular readers know I am very much on the same page as Turley on many subjects, most actually, and we see this the same as well. Turley started his report, stating, “With this material, the public is finally seeing how officials and reporters set into motion what may be the greatest hoax ever perpetrated in American politics.”
He then added, “There never was a Russian collusion conspiracy. This is the emerging story of the real Russian conspiracy to manufacture a false narrative that succeeded in devouring much of the first term of the Trump administration.”
The media and Democrats are deflecting away from all of this, pretending that the investigation into the collusion shows that this was all warranted.
Those reports ignore the fact that this all started via Hillary’s campaign, and the FBI played along. It is a legitimate coup of sorts, and it is definitely illegal, but will anyone ever pay?
