John Brennan tells Trump it is time for him to move on from Russiagate

This week, a report broke that the FBI was launching an investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey.

The investigation comes after the CIA released a new report on the Russian collusion investigation into the 2016 election.

Brennan believes it is time for President Donald Trump to move on, doubling down on his assertions about Russian interference in the 2016 election he says was designed to help Trump win.

Investigation announced

The FBI has not confirmed or denied the report, but sources have told Fox News that after CIA Director John Ratcliffe released the aforementioned report, the FBI decided to open an investigation into the Russia collusion investigation.

The basis of this would be the notion that Brennan knowingly used the so-called Steele dossier to try to take down Trump, even though his analysts had discredited the report.

This appears to be piggybacking off of the results of the Mueller and Durham reports, which concluded there was no coordinated effort from Russia in 2016, and the initial investigation should have never been launched.

Comey is also potentially on the hook for FISA abuse, something that is a long time coming, in my opinion.

Clueless

Of all the former Obama and Biden officials, Brennan has always been at the top of the list of people who had an axe to grind with Trump.

Brennan is now doing the media circuit, claiming he has no idea why he would be investigated, responding to the reports by saying, “Quite frankly, I don’t know what is true, you know.”

He later added, “If it was a referral, if there is an investigation, presumably if there is an investigation, people will be questioned. I would be questioned about it, but again, I’ve had no contact from them.”

Among other things, Brennan could be charged with lying to Congress, something he claims he never did.

Get over it

I have long made the case that election interference by countries is commonplace, including by the United States. If you do your research, you will find that we have done some pretty underhanded things to other countries to get our people in place among the leadership ranks.

Foreign countries do the same thing in every election, but Trump was accused of working hand-in-hand with Russia, something which Mueller found was not the case.

Yet, Brennan is still pushing this angle, but spinning it regarding Russia’s involvement, stating, “Russia interfered. They tried to help Donald Trump. They tried to hurt Hillary Clinton. They tried to you know undermine the democratic foundations of our country in terms of our election integrity. This has been validated over and over again. Move on. Get over it.”

This is not about proving that Russia did not try to influence the election; it is about the moves that Brennan made to make it look like Trump was involved. If you look at 2020, our adversaries tried to influence the election, and they did it in 2016, 2012, and virtually every modern-day election before that...this is all well documented. Heck, we could make the case that Brennan and his 50 buddies who signed the letter regarding Hunter Biden's laptop also interfered in the 2020 election, and I think we should.
