Just a few weeks ago, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced that attacks against ICE agents had escalated 500% since Trump took office.
Over the weekend, it was revealed that attacks are now up over 700%, and that number is likely to rise with the continued rhetoric from Democrats.
To that point, this week alone, agents in Texas were ambushed at multiple locations, and there is no end in sight.
From January 2024 to June 2024, there were a total of 10 assaults against agents.
In 2025, we have already seen 79 assaults take place, more than the entire 2024 year, and an increase of nearly 700%, and there is only one reason this is happening.
Democrats have made ICE agents out to be Nazis and have compared them to the Gestapo, when all they are doing is their jobs.
As bad as that is, the last few days have been horrific.
On Monday, Border Patrol agents came under fire at a facility in McAllen, Texas.
The shooter reportedly was armed with a rifle and was wearing tactical gear.
Agents and local police returned fire, hitting and killing the gunman.
DHS stated, "This morning an individual opened fired at the entrance of the United States Border Patrol sector annex in McAllen, Texas. Both Border Patrol agents and local police helped neutralize the shooter. This is an ongoing investigation led by the FBI. More information will be shared as it becomes available."
In recent days, ICE announced that there were at least two ambushes that took place in Texas, resulting in charges being filed against 10 individuals.
The suspects have been identified as Cameron Arnold, also known as Autumn Hill; Savannah Batten; Nathan Baumann; Zachary Evetts; Joy Gibson; Bradford Morris, also known as Meagan Morris; Maricela Rueda; Seth Sikes; Elizabeth Soto; and Ines Soto.
According to reports, the defendants vandalized cars as well as participated in an organized attack against the agents. Thankfully, much of this was captured on CCTV and bodycams.
What is very concerning is that much of the rhetoric we are seeing spewed by these attackers is the same type of rhetoric that Dems are spewing when they have a microphone pushed in their face regarding Trump’s immigration crackdown. My gut tells me this is just the beginning, as I have a horrible feeling we are going to see much larger attacks that lead to significant loss of life on both sides, and that blood will all be on the Democrats’ hands.
