Kamala Harris, Dems offer nothing but gloom and doom

Generally speaking, on holidays like Independence Day, regardless of political affiliation, both parties will post inspirational and patriotic messages.

Dems are no longer patriotic, however, as the party has taken a horrifying lurch to the left.

They proved that with nothing but doom and gloom messages on our 249th Independence Day.

Hollywood meltdown

The meltdown in Hollywood over the big, beautiful bill (BBB) was fairly predictable.

For instance, director Lee Daniels stated, “I woke up sad this morning and frustrated as I’m sure many of you must have.” Daniels later added, “Make America Great Again are the four most dangerous words ever to hit America ... never great for anybody except for the white man.”

Actor Chris Meloni posted a cartoon of George Washington telling Jesus, “It’s like they didn’t listen at all,” with Jesus responding, “Same bro.”

John Leguizamo wrote, “Sad day for America as Latinos have fought in every war America has ever had! 10,000 unknown Latino patriots fought in the American revolution!”

Harris ripped for Independence Day message

Former Vice President Kamala Harris posted a picture on social media from a balcony of the White House, with Joe and Jill Biden cropped out of the picture for some reason.

She wrote, “This Fourth of July, I am taking a moment to reflect. Things are hard right now. They are probably going to get worse before they get better."

Harris added, “But I love our country -- and when you love something, you fight for it. Together, we will continue to fight for the ideals of our nation.”

The former VP was subsequently ripped for the tone of her message, with most saying how grateful they were she was not elected, and radio host Mark Simone writing, “Kamala sets a new record for the worst 4th of July message ever.”

More doom and gloom

Harris was not alone, as virtually every prominent Democrat had a similar message. For instance, Barack Obama wrote, "Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ‘We.’ ‘We The People.’ ‘We Shall Overcome.’ ‘Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens."

Obama continued, “And at this moment in history -- when core democratic principles seem to be continuously under attack, when too many people around the world have become cynical and disengaged—now is precisely the time to ask ourselves tough questions about how we can build our democracies and make them work in meaningful and practical ways for ordinary people.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) added, "On July 4, 1776, Americans said: No to Kings, No to Despotism. On July 4, 2025, all across the country, Americans say again: No to Kings, No to Despotism.”

We don’t have kings here, and democracy is not under attack. These are the words of a party that is still upset over losing, so they are once again resorting to sensationalism and fearmongering to try to win power back. That, my friends, is all they know.
