For just a minute, it appeared that the feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump was over.
Musk had ripped Trump for the “big, beautiful bill,” then things started to get personal, but the tech mogul more or less apologized, and the situation cooled down.
That may have just ended after Musk ripped Trump’s top personnel guy, the same individual who may have been behind the first feud.
For all intents and purposes, Musk called Trump’s bill a pig with lipstick, finally breaking his silence when he had been hinting around that he did not approve of the spending bill.
While approaching a $37 trillion national debt, Musk posted a meme of himself on a Kill Bill movie poster, with the caption, “Kill Bill,” adding, “Shame on those who voted for it.”
The Trump administration responded, "By every honest metric, President Donald J Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill dramatically improves the fiscal trajectory of the United States and unleashes an era of unprecedented economic growth.”
That, however, was just the beginning.
After that back and forth, Musk then dropped the bombshell, stating that the reason the Epstein files were not being released was because Trump’s name was in them.
Trump was reportedly furious over the comment, then told the media he had no desire to make up with Musk.
This started a volley between the two men, with Musk finally putting up the white flag.
Eventually, it appeared that they had buried the hatchet and were back on speaking terms, but Musk just got a little rambunctious and fired another shot at administration insider Sergio Gor.
A report surfaced this week that Gor, the man who is in charge of vetting Trump staffers, has not been fully vetted himself.
If you recall, Gor was the man who dug up dirt on Musk’s recommendation to lead NASA, which I believe Musk took to heart.
Musk responded to reports of his involvement on X, posting, “He’s a snake.”
As I had stated in previous reports, I am not expecting Musk to get invited to any Mar-a-Lago parties anytime soon, and I think this cements the fact that Musk simply does not approve of everything that is going on, but to what point is the real question? Will Musk stop supporting the GOP, or just continue to take shots at Trump to poke the bear?
